FOUNDATION IN DESIGN
FID is a pre-university 1 year programme for high school graduated students who are interested in taking up a design related degree programme. By taking up this pre-university programme, students are inclined to obtain more knowledge on said subject. This programme is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue a future in various specialisations of art and design such as interior design, graphic design, multimedia design and even interior architecture.
Foundation programs generally can be called a fast track towards the degree, preparing students for the next step in their education. They tend to contain more focused syllabuses and are recommended for people who are very sure for courses that they will be taking. Besides that, students can also gain new experiences and have fun during the process of doing the assignments given by the lecturers.
Upon successful completion of the Foundation programme, students can choose to pursue Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Interior Architecture, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Communication Design or Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Interactive Multimedia Design.
